Vinicius Junior, a Real Madrid player, travels to Morocco and dons a national team jersey

Real Madrid player Vinicius Junior, a Brazilian, stirred many debates after traveling to Morocco and sharing photos of himself on Instagram sporting the Moroccan national team jersey.

An additional point of interest was piqued by his visit to a Marrakech high school. On Monday, Vinicius, the “UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Education for All,” visited a secondary school in Marrakech, a UNESCO Learning City, according to a post made by UNESCO on their social media platform to commemorate his visit.

“Thank you, Vinicius Junior, for creating such a memorable moment for the kids and continuously championing UNESCO’s mission,” the UN organization said in an expression of gratitude.

During the visit, Vinicius played football with pupils in the schoolyard to the enthusiastic acclaim and cheers of several nearby students.
